Handmade Counted Cross Stitch Rose Afghan is made of 100% cotton and is enticingly soft. The softness of the fabric gives it very attractive drape. The weave of this white afghan creates an interesting design and texture. Raised threads create a waffle design around the border and between squares that are of a flat weave. In alternating flat squares, beautiful red roses in 3/4 profile are cross-stitched. Each rose is surrounded by lush green, cross-stitched leaves. Between the rose squares, delicate burgundy ribbons are tied into bows and secured to the fabric.

Along all four edges of the Rose Afghan are knotted fringes. The fringes create a decorative edging as well as securing the edges of the fabric.
